A piece of a peace pipe

Here is a broken peace pipe I found way back in 2005 in Mountrail County, ND. It was frozen in ice when I came across it. I had to use my brothers thermos of coffee to thaw it out so I could get it.

Isn’t everything you find frozen in?
I use to camp around Max back in my prime, spring-summer-fall, 90 days+\-.
The very best artifacts anywhere come from right where your at. IMO

Just about![emoji1787] A guy finds some really nice stuff up this way. I hunt mostly around New Town, ND about 65 miles west of Max.

what was the context of the find? such a piece I would think would have been discarded at a camp site and not just randomly. that would make me want to go back and look for more!
