Sorry, if he told you that is Bird stone he knows nothing about Indian artifacts. It is a rock formed my mother nature.
 

Look in the dictionary Under “rock”.

I met the gentleman at an artifact show. Interestingly he had a display case full of copper arrowheads. It was his gut reaction when I showed him my find.
 

Could be just a case of pareidolia.
If I look at it long enough, it's kind of bird shaped looking.
Though it's totally natural, not altered by man.
