Was messing around with my slate shelves today and decided to make one shelf dedicated to my better slate. Thanks for looking.

Nice but they look brand new. Ignorant newbie iyam (not really a newbie, I've been flipping rocks over since knee high for bugs ~ never looked at the rocks much unless fossil; nobody told me I could be and archeologist or such, just maybe I could be president day :-l )
~What have you got there Trev? ~~ Too funny seeing folks collections eons later, well knowing as neuron sparks I've seen versions dis 'n dat but never knew and went around them.
Tips me hat~

All have a good amount of mineralization, it's the only way I purchase them.

Just gorgets , pendants and bannerstones made of banded slate

Trev...you mentioned carving this material so you could better judge authentic artifacts...do you have a pic of what banded slate looks like in a raw unaltered form? Just curious...thanks!...awesome collection.

Just added middle bannerstone

Hey trevmma quick question, do u "ever" or should I say "still" bring home banded slate pre-forms or do u leave them in the field... I have a few I saved but wasn't sure if I should keep wasting my bringing them home or just leme em lay!

Heck i have a shelf of them. I keep them all

Ok-ok! I will keep bringing them home when I find them! They just are not as pretty as the finished product!
