we got these 3 coins on our first day, and haven't yet been able to find anything else old there. So far we have hunted this site 3 different times, and got a lot of clad. Oh well we are happy with these finds.

he and I hunted his buddies house friday night, he is so impatient and gets bored very quickly.....lol. If he doesn't find something within 5 minutes he is ready to give up.

he found some clad and a couple matchbox cars. I am hoping his patience gets better as he gets a bit older.

oh shoot, well maybe a lil planted goodie hunt would do the trick for him.. spark his interest big time if he finds a silver coin. Do you think that will help? it just might work. give it a shot ya never know.. good luck, hope he gets interested again..

I actually thought about that, but the more I thought about it. I felt like that would be like lying to him, because the coin was "placed" there by me. I would feel guilty because I do not like to be dishonest with my son. I am trying to teach him right from wrong as he grows up. I think he will be fine, just give him a little time. Right now he doesn't have patience for much of anything.
Sometimes he goes he will detect for a lil bit then just turn his off and follow me around. So still getting time with him makes it worthwhile to me.
