I was able to get out on a hunt in downtown Phoenix and had a good day with some nice finds. 103 clad coins, a few odds and ends, a 1936 - 1937 chauffeur license badge for California, 1942d Mercury dime, 1939d Mercury dime, 1942s Washington quarter, 1942 Wheat penny, and a 1936 Walking Liberty half dollar. As you can see the soil here is not kind to coins. A little cool early in the morning but warmed up nicely. The odds and ends were a suspender buckle, an accordion reed, a 42 Wheat, a play money quarter, a heart shaped tag for a dog, and several keys. I counted the aluminum bottle caps I dug after coming home and there were 64 of them. They just give a signal that I can't seem to ignore, even though it jumps around a lot.
This location has a lot of potential as I only searched a fraction of it. Thanks for looking and stay warm out there.
