A Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On

Well, I didn't actually find anything metal today. But I did find myself being shaken out of my bed this morning by a 5.2 quake! Anyone else feel it? It may not be a big deal for some of you out on the West Coast, but for us here in the Midwest its something to talk about.

Maybe this will stir up some of that old silver that I have yet to find. :D

Felt it in Michigan a little! I think... I'm usually a little shaky before that first cup in the morning.

Actually all the silver is 1 inch deeper now :tongue3:

Got a call from my son. He works for the National Weather Service in Lincoln, Illinois. He also woke up to it. Is always looking for tornado's in that area, now they get a earthquake. Told me he is just waiting for people to call up and complain that it did not come over the weather radio they use for severe weather. LOL

Dang it , if it shook any here I slept plumb through it . I've never felt an earthquake . Seen the room
spinning a few times though . An earthquake would have to be more fun . :-\

Was working and didn't feel a thing, girlfriend called and told me about it. Too far away to bring the silver to the surface here!

We felt it over here too. WV along the Ohio river.

Here's a neat site to check out quakes. The size of the circles on the map are determined by the magnitude of the quake.
http://www.iris.edu/seismon/

In the past week to ten days, there were 600 quakes off the Oregon coast, the seismologists say that isn't normal.
