Here is my collection of Adena Blades i found. These include 2 caches I found on the same day that include 19 blades in one and 13 in the other. I included pics of the largest blades to give you an example of size. All found in the field that never fails.

Enjoy :)

Those are the only 2. I'm hoping there's more though!!

Great finds and good story on how you found them. Looking at the two pics they look really old. I know knives and preforms are hard to type, but they could be older than you think. Those big flaked areas don't look like a typical Adena style to me. It would be nice to get some opinions from others with more experience typing points then I have. No matter, those are really nice finds.

Thanks newnan, I'm open to any info everyone is willing to share!

A cache of any kind is rare in my opinion. Those Adena blades are beautiful. What a great story and day from the "Field". Days like that are remembered forever.
Thanks for sharing Johnny.

WOW!!! What a feeling it must have been to hold in your hands what no other man, except the maker of such a fine cache, has held in their hands. When I pick up an artifact it makes me wonder what kind of person made it and what kind of use he had in mind for it. Great find. Hope you find many more and post them here for us to see.

Every time I find a artifact it has a feeling of the first one I ever found. It never seems to get old.

You found 13 and 19. And I found 21. Sounds they liked odd numbers.
