Ahhh, now that's more like it! 😃

Such a beautiful Spring day today, I went to a target rich school and just stayed for hours!!

Somehow, the overall feel of the day was, happy!

An indication of things that went before there was a school.

Even this! An ALWAYS welcome surprise in any hunt!

The ring & the charm are silver. The ring: 3.19 grams of .925

Blingie says, "Vegas, Shmegas!" LOL

Thanks for peeking!

Wow that's an awesome day right there.

When you guys hunt schoolyards, whereabouts do you hunt? Playgrounds obviously, but are there any other areas that you specifically hit?

Great finds! You made enough for a pack of batteries or a 6pk of beer!

Schools = playgrounds, under bleachers, side lines of any sports activity.

Look at the trees, are they good climbing trees? If so hunt under them.

Also on week end when driving around, take notes and pics of people playing soccer, etc. Then go back and hunt after they are done.

Oh and - hunt areas far away and have coverage (trees/bushes) from prying eyes like teachers or others, the people who "fool around" in those spots tend not to keep track of their belongings :laughing7:

Well, I can only speak for myself but, I'm liable to put that detector head down on ANY open area!

Maybe, not the track nor the tennis courts, (maybe if they're clay courts.

) LOL

That help any?

Yeah, as far as I can figure that's what that is, funny thing to find in a new schoolyard.

Thanks!

Well, if anyone would know a quality ring.

You'd appreciate this story. I was going across a section that was very, very quiet. Not much in the way of clutter at all. The targets I did find were pretty deep so I had to listen very, very closely. Then, I hit this ring that was about an inch down. My ears are still ringing! LOL

Congrats on your silver ring and haul of coins !
You keep hauling that in and Blingie will be doing the happy dance at home!

All I got was some clad and a ten inch by three inch flatted copper pipe 1/8 " thick, weighs about 2lbs! And it read "penny"! Lol!
