Seems that half of the battle for a noob is working up the nerve to ask. I feel that it might be easier at first to approach folks outside, until I get my introduction and rapport down pat.

I live in southwest Ohio and have never dug an Indian. I don't get it. 2 centers and half dimes but no Indians and you have a pile every year up north. I have a new mission. Lol

rob I live in NW ohio and have been digging lots of Indian heads my oldest is a 1863 come on up and we can get you your first one. I have a site I'm on now that has given up 11 so far.

I agree with the one reply saying " the hardest part is just asking for permission "
esp, for someone like me with a history of Social anxiety Disorder, but really all they can say is no.
I just worry ,As it mostly used to be ( a persons yard reflects back on the family living there & they picture a "cluster bombed look" after I,m through) so the word Dig is def, a no no.

And tho it may not be PC ,IMO You have dug up more Indian's than most Archies put together.
