This is very bad news for you. Do you have kerosene heater. I use them only and get very warm. also use kerosene cook stove for back up.

My fingers are the Coldest part of me, Keep having to reach Down at the Heat ;D

When you think you have it bad you read The news.

There is always someone who has it worse :(

Storm may leave thousands in darkness for days

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Utility companies and road crews prepared for the worst Wednesday as a winter storm barreled into the Northeast, while officials in areas already hit hard by the blast warned it may be days before some shivering communities have electricity again.

The storm has been blamed for at least 19 deaths, shuttered government offices and kept kids home from dozens of schools from the Southern plains to the East Coast. With more than a foot of snow forecast for New Hampshire, the Legislature canceled Wednesday's sessions. In Louisville, Ky., the mayor delayed opening government offices until 10 a.m. and urged businesses to follow suit.

Good morning Jeff, we'll hope and pray that your power stays on. Wow, that storm is covering a pretty big area. Was looking at it on the weather map this morning and it's not good. I am on the northern boundry of it so all I am getting is a lot of snow (added on to the foot or so already on the ground). And it is plenty cold enough to keep it powdery, which
makes it easier to cope with and doesn't do the damage that the ice does.

Hope everything works out ok at your place. Stay warm and dry.

Ray

Thanks, Jeff for posting that website. All during the 70's I lived only 20 miles north of Gaylord and worked all
around that area as a carpenter. It was good to see this.

Yep that's how it was done here
Through the Coal Shute.

Then it had to be carried up the steps
in a bucket to the Heatrola in the Living room.

Was not good for the carpets when I Would Spill
some.

I Don't miss that.
