Aluminum tub...age and intended use???

[mope540]

I'm assuming that this tub was either for harvesting produce, or sold as a wash tub. Which, if either, is correct?? Approx. age?? It sits 11" high, and measures 17 1/2" across the top. Just curious...i'm keeping it because it comes in handy at times. Thanks!!!

Hello mope540. Don't know the age but the use is..............."because it comes in handy at times"...sorry my bad but I could not resist making a jackass comment. Good luck. C9

Looks like it will hold ice and beverages of your choice very nicely

We used similar tubs as "ash cans" for coal stoves and furnaces.....Joe McDonough
