I was looking through my "junk" jewelry finds today and what do ya know. Bang, clear as day a 925 mark I had written this one off because it came up low on the ATpro for silver (70s I think) but sure enough it's silver number two this season and number 5 in my young career but I'll take it.

Tell me about it! I was going thru testing mine this past winter & came across a bracelet that had crud on it and was missing the clasp. The thought hits you and your thinking "No way!" Yes way, white gold! I was shocked, but glad.

Thanks for sharing...

That clasp is one I don't think I have seen before. Glad you found that mark. When I first started, I found a huge ladies' ring, but tossed it in the garbage because it came out of the ground with that rosey color of clad. I still wonder if that was a mistake, lol! I have tumbled a silver quarter that looked clad. As you said, check and double check! Much luck and good wishes your way.

Nice earring. The ones with this kind of leaver back were usually more expensive and better made. Too bad you could find the other one of the pair.

Thanks for the reminder.
I was re-checking my silver stuff once, found a 10k white gold (ring).
I thought, how did I miss THAT!? LOL!

Amazing that you missed the .925 mark, it looks pretty big to me! :o
Of course, my wife says the same thing to me when she see's me in a swim suit! :laughing7:

Glad you noticed it. I have run across that myself. Sometimes the pendant or earring is sterling but the clasp (or other part of the piece) is not thus the lower reading. Just my 21/2 cents. lol.

Yeah this one actually has two 925s there is one on the clasp also lol I don't know how I missed them, guess I just never really looked at it. Glad I did though but still not sure why the low reading.
