Hi my name is Pamela from the Beech Grove, Arkansas area known as the Ridge. My husband and I went rock hunting and unlike him I would pick up items that looked like faces, animals or anything that looked odd. I was laughed at by many people for doing so. After I got home and cleaned them up certain things started to appear. I was then looked at like Oh she may have something here. The area we
would hunt was a known mound site on my husbands family property where several years ago people were carrying out buckets full
of arrowheads, drills, axes etc. Please let me know if they are the ones that are Crazy or if I am bbecause I have looked at other sites and
I believe my finds are alot better than the ones I have viewed. Thank you in advance for your help.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post hogfanpjs - so, Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

2nd - A couple of those rocks remind me of some of my friends! :laughing7:

Just rocks. The 11th one down may be a grinding stone but I can't tell how big it is.

No there not just rocks.. the one with three dots is a marker for silver. The face effigies are the work of the Jesuit Priest. Post them on treasure signs and markers. Welcome to TN.

The very first one tells you it's the priests work. You can see its hat . The second one is the lion. It's very common effigy on their sites. The only thing bad is they are markers on a map. By removing them you lose the value as a clue. Each piece has its place and meaning.

They look like natural rocks to me. Keep looking because there's plenty of artifacts waiting to be found. Good luck and be safe.

That the whole purpose of hiding in plain sight. Some may be natural but some are not. Knowing the Jesuit work is another. Don't take my word, look it up. There are plenty examples of their work. I'm not going to argue about it. Do your homework.

what you are doing is what they would do,bring out what is already there.if they saw something in the rock they would carve it out and bring it to life.you do not have any that show any signs of them doing that, but you do have some that look like tools, one could of been used as a paint bowl, and the round smooth rock would of been used.kids might of hung on too them like todays dolls id bet though.

You guys love that word. Here the deal. Know what your talking about. If you spend time researching you will find more than a word to explain what you have. That a word made up by those who can't expect the facts. There are stones with effigies that are man made. There stones that are natural. Just because you can't find a tool mark doesn't mean it's not man made. History is being rewrote everyday. Old ways of thinking are just that, Old. It's a code or system that is old as King Soloman. Just because some of you don't see it well doesn't make it as you call it. Yes Here We Go Again.

If we all excepted the words of the masses where would we be today. Certainly not where we are. It takes open minds to gain new knowledge. It's not the work of a over active imagination. But having one is the first step. Listen I said don't take my word on it,study.

Natural curves and markings, and I see no evidence at all of tool marks.

Sorry BWB, I'd have to go with natural occurring rocks as well.

I agree that #11 could be a grindstone. The lines on that one could be plow marks but there are triangles on left and right of the possible grind depression. They disappear into the grind depression so they may have been there prior to the depression being made. # 13 has an X that appears to be man-made. Again, could be from plow, but the lines are short and the angles appear to be 90 degrees. If manmade, could be anything from Jesuits to a boy playing around with a pocketknife. All other rocks appear to me to be natural formations.
