Wow ! might be my best day of the year! I hit a silver coin trifecta today! 1898-S barber dime, a 1944-S merc, and a 1952-D Rosie on the same day in the same area! I thought that was a great start
and then I dug a 1943-S walking liberty half dollar! Another silver Rosie dated 1948 would top off my best day of the year so far for total silver in one day of hunting! I'm still pounding the medium even
after my 7 or 8th pass through the 2 mile long huge strip of dirt. Since discovering this medium 5 years ago I've now dug out 128 silver coins from it! Today's walker half was my 3rd from this medium!
Also dug out 6 wheat cents, a silver thimble, and 3 dog tags. What a day! ...You know where I'll be again next Saturday!

Oh Dude, you killed it! It’s been a very long time since I had a day like that! Big silver is always great, but love the bug:laughing7: Congrats on a killer day! Great pictures too!

What in the heck? Must've been a ton of traffic on that median. Nice going!!

Back in the day when kids actually played outside it was a major playground for them from the 1920's to the 1980's. Kids don't play outside anymore, with all the stupid smart phones and computer games you'll never see them in the medium anymore. I've found lots of metal toys in there and probably 2 dozen metal parts to cap guns. I also see lots of people walking their dogs. It has had tons of foot traffic over the last 80 years or so.
