America Indian?

Hi, I found this yesterday while detecting, I can see carving on it and is kind of diamond shape at the ends.

Is it made of bone or antler? I find bones and antlers that rats or other animals have chewed to get minerals they have teeth marks that look just like that.

Not sure if it's bone or antler.

Okay, it's to my understanding that some little varmit chewed on some bone just to confuse me later on in life. It must've worked!
