An Eagle I button in good and bad shape, and more.

Went back to an old spot this weekend and managed to find a few relics that were missed before. I even had a fellow T-Net member, Cold Digger, great guy visiting from Louisiana looking for a place to dig in the area. Finds have gotten slim at this spot but due to hunting season, I am limited.

This Eagle I coat button has awesome gilt left on it, but also has some very rough areas. Its usually one or the other. The gilt left around the I is perfect.

Two more regular eagles in pretty good shape.

Cool little buckle.

A really small horse shoe. Smallest one I've found. I almost thought it was one that soldiers would put on their boots.

I did manage to find 4 bullets all together, this one has the star on the inside.

I found the six small round balls all in the same hole. All in All a good weekend, thanks for looking. HH.

Sweet score on a bunch of cool relics mate. I dug what may be the exact Gold Gilded CW Infantry Button today up here in Yankee country northern Illinois. Mine has Scoville MFG Co. Waterbury stamped on the reverse. Check it out in my post. Cool to see the same cool old items dug on the same day several hundred miles apart. Love this sport!!! Sweet Hunt!
