An excellent day at the mining town & what is it

My first time out this year and i hit the mining town and hauled home 30 lbs of iron. I'll show a few of them.

Part of a wrench, a mining pick and regular pick head and a hatchet head.

A 12" circular saw blade. Evidently they must have had a hit and miss engine to power the blade. I doubt that it could have been turned fast enough by hand to run it.

A 24" bit to drill into the coal seams.

What at first I thought was the bail from a pail, but I think it is a hanger to hold a flower pot. Any ideas?

Two locks. One brass and one very rusty one.

What is it. Not a very good photo. This item is brass and 6" long. It is hollow and 3/8" dia on the end.
