An old Axe Head

I found this on an old property that has been occupied since 1827 in Western Missouri. I don't know much about axe heads so if you can help me ID it or tell me where I would find a makers mark I would appreciate it.

More of a Hatchet,and tough to date for sure but I would say at least Mid 19Th Cent

I doubt it will have a makers mark,but you can use steel wool...I use a wire brush

I would say around 1850-1910.. I've dug a few very similar too those around house sites dating from 1850-1920s. Dug a few 18th century axe heads which can fetch $50-$80 bucks too the right collector. Great find though, i love digging old axes.
