DKinPA & I spent the Morning out at the old pool site today
again.

Today's Gas Rebate only 56 Cents.
not too good considering I put $50.00 in today
& it didn't even Fill my tank :P

Ring came out about 3 Feet behind where my truck
was parked. I gotta stop walking away from were I park

I checked with many history site by the biggest lake, even the beach by the lake, but all of them were federal land property! If you enter the site, then you will be caught by the park ranger and take your metal detector away!

Anyway, good job to found any oldest coins out there!

that place is well grown in now isnt it?....plus they filled it with dirt


good spot though....i hear lots of stories from guys at work when they had dances there waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day


i woulda tried across the street on the side of the road(not where houses are0.....they used to park there....and im sure lots of drunk fools dropped many of coins

its not even really a lake.......its a pool....or was for that matter

from what i heard researching.
It was an Ice Dam in the 1800's
and used for swimming in the Summers.

Then Converted to a cement Pool.
Yes it is now Filled with the reminants of a church that Burned
down in schuylkill haven.

Didn't know about the Parking area accross the street.

was there many times for the Jordan Brothers.

I'll See If I can Post the News article from the past.

I know i'm missing part of it.
