This was one of the least pleasant moments. Finding this

the rattlesnakes we have here in Florida are not as agressive as the ones out there, I have seen some here way over 7 foot long, particularly scary. I think the ones here have a more potent venom... not something I like to encounter when I am out in the boonies

Just like in northern Nevada, they aren't usually aggressive, but I think this one was startled when it saw me and went into defensive mode.

Nice group of finds !!! Love the bullet , no markings, it might be military. Tell that rattler he's lucky he met you and not me ! If he gave me that attitude , I would have cooked him right there and been wearing his rattles Round my neck 😂

It would be amazing to find that gold stolen by Big Jack Davis in Virginia City, Nevada.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra; that phone has a very powerful zoom. And as for the rattlesnake, I think I was about 6 feet away from it.
