Thanks
Never thought about the title I was just excited to share my find...try and remember for next time though

That coin certanly did not see alot of circulation before it was dropped. That is in outstanding shape. I recently dug a 1829 busted capped dime which did see a lot of circulation and as happy as I was finding it I only wish it was in as nice of condition as your quarter. Outstanding find. Congrats on the once in a life time find.

Thanks and congrats to you on the 1829 busted capped dime!!!

Thanks everyone!!!
It is so cool I'm not sure if I would sell it lol

Unless it was a life changing amount of money I'd personally never ever sell a find. For me it's not worth selling a special once in a lifetime find for a few hundred or even thousand dollars. You can always come up with cash, you'll probably never find that quarter again [emoji3]

Ya the ones on eBay, or most of them seem to have less detail on them.
Crazy that my dug one looks as good as it does lol

Was the hole already dug before filming? You made a small cut with your digger and a perfect circle of a plug came out. Nice coin.

I stuck the shovel in once and decided to get my camera...the dig was actual but I knew the high tone was in that area...plus the ground was dry so the sod tore easily

You would think after several comments on my YouTube channel of you calling me a fraud that this question was already answered.
There were 3 people who were there with me and know it was a real dig..so go troll stalk someone else

Nice coin- Sorry to say ,but the video looks like a re- enactment of the original find. Everything looked too easy, from digging to pulling out the coin that already looked cleaned off.Not trying to diminish the find. I have dug many coins and watched countless live digs on videos and the process is never that easy. And I am not a "troll".

Im not trolling at all. Before I vote for banner I just wanted to make sure that was an actual live dig and not a reenactment. Personally, I think it would have been better if you just turned the camera on after you found the coin instead of digging hole, then talking as if the item hadn't been found yet.

Thanks everyone for the banner
My intention was just to share my find with you guys and being new to this forum I was not aware of banners and recently found out about honorable mentions.
My hope is someone else will get an even better find cause detecting is so much fun and a cool way to uncover history.
I owe my success to my AT Pro and good friend who taught me the settings that made him better with his machine
Happy hunting all

Amazing thanks for posting. I hit my first Bust coin last week. Half dime, 1834. Unbelievable feeling. Your coin would make me go into cardiac arrest. $500 is low. If you do end up selling it to buy yourself a new machine, don't take less $750... Let's see what the 'experts' have to say about the coin. Congratulations.
