Hi, my name is Troy and I am from N.W. Louisiana. I have been lurking here for some time and thought it was high time I introduced myself. I have owned a couple cheapo MD's over the years and never had much luck, last month I bought myself a Garrett Ace 250 and after about three hours in the woods with it, I was hooked! Last week I ordered a Fisher F2 with DD coil (my 15 year old took my Garrett away from me!) and found my first ever silver coin with it! Right now I don't have many places to hunt, but with the help of reading the posts on this site, I have learned ways to research and am awaiting permission on a few new sites.
