You guy's are good! Heres another one. My friend found these and more in his back yard growing up, many years ago. Do you think they are mates?

WW2 era 75mm Solid shot anti tank round for the US M2 or M3 gun, they would have been used in either a Lee or Sherman tank, the case is dated 1940, there should be a date and lot number on the brass ring (driving band) around the projectile as well if I remember right

What else did you dig up back there? Why isn't my yard full of WW2 artillery?
