I have found several of these over the past several months but every one I have found has been broken into pieces. Digging around an old house this afternoon about 8" down got a glimpse of something white in the hole, I carefuly got the lid seal out. It's not a sliver coin, but it ment a lot to get a milk glass jar seal intact so thought I would share. Now maybe one of these days soon I find the elusive sliver coins.

For every intact one I dig, I find a dozen broken. There are several different varieties that are commonly found. Nail City liners are worth finding and keeping. A lot of diggers chuck these little gems.

I save every intact Mason jar liner I find. I must have dozens by now. Never any silver coins in a jar though.:sad7:

I've only found broken ones. Got a bunch one time by a creek. Yours is a beaut.
