I didn't know Brad . but he sounded like a great guy and liked by all ! What a wonderful gift Brad gave to all ! Just his intent of making a child smile & the smiles brought on to adults that see a child smile really warms your heart a lot ! Gods speed Brad !

was quite a force in target archery back in the day.

I always think about family never knowing due to an unknown user name or password how munch good someone did or how they impacted other people online outside their physical friend group. I think that also counts and would be appreciated.

Treasurenet lost one this morning, as Brad Lewis, aka @Limitool, passed away. He had been fighting an aggressive cancer that was only diagnosed earlier this year. It quickly overtook him and he passed at home surrounded by his family.

It's hard to know what to say about such things, but I do want to say a couple of things, so I hope that's OK.

Brad was one of the few people I've met online that turned into a real-world friendship. He was kind and generous, strong and determined, and I know he will be missed by all who knew him. He has helped me personally more than once, including reigniting my interest in bottle collecting, and in teaching and inspiring me in woodworking. Some may know he made and donated toy boxes in memory of his daughter and grandson who were killed in a traffic accident. This would have been his tenth year of that work, and he knew it was going to be a special year. He didn't know how right he was. He was also a nature lover, an expert archer, a great pool player, and a treasure hunter.

Rest in peace, Brad. You will be missed.

I’m so very sorry to hear this, I have tears in my eyes. When I first posted about starting metal detecting years ago he was very helpful and kind. I know he’s accumulated treasures on the other side and perhaps we’ll meet there.
