VINTAGE

THE PAUL REVERE LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY

Worcester, MA

"Our Policy is Quality"

POCKET WATCH FOB

The back of the fob is marked "2401420 DROP IN MAILBOX POSTAGE GUARANTEED THE PAUL REVERE LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY WORCESTER, MA 01608."

This fob is rare and has a different design on front that is hard to find.

Truth you persistent old cuss you work that old Fort like a 2 bit you know what, but in the end she always reluctantly puts out the best goods to her lover. Congrats once again to a sweet find. Btw, I'm betting that fob post dates 1776 by a few years. : grin :

I found a lot of things on that particular fob but none of it was dated any suggestions ecmo

Dean, I didn't research the fob so don't know what you found out. Here is the short of Paul Revere Insurance history: In 1895 the Masonic Protective Association (MPA) is created in Worcester Massachusetts and sells insurance exclusively to Masons.

In 1930 The Paul Revere Life Insurance Company is founded by the MPA to expand its business beyond serving Masons. Paul Revere would eventually buy out MPA.

In 1997 Provident Insurance completes acquisition of Paul Revere. So on a half a**ed guess I would say that fob dates between 1930-1960.

Hey Dan I found the same thing nothing before 1930 although it’s good news that at least I have the rarest one and you know I’ll take that :))

I think it’s for your key ring. Ive seen another insurance co. with a similar, if found drop in mail.
If somebody filled out the paper work, they still might have it on file.
Have to give back but I’ll vote full banner
