Antietam Recovery = 18 pc.'s /My First (intact) Eagle!!!!!!

Some of you might think I have plenty of these.....Wrong! This is my first full Eagle Button from the Great Battle.I think I scared Ty when I yelled,he was so close he dropped his detector I have found bit's and piece's but not a full intact Eagle,took me 2 yr.'s and right now I'm drinking a chilly one for everyone.Here's the find's for the day....Don't be afraid of Briar's!!This will most likely take me a couple post's to show you the pic's so enjoy and HH!!Thank's for Eyeballin'

Hey civil thats cool what Ty and you did!!Gotta buy you guys a beer for that one!!!Thats the second time some one got there 1st lead this year you guys a lead gods!By the way the button is awesome too.I guess it really does pay off going where no one else will hunt in the briars.

nice finds when I lived in Waynesboro Pa. I use to make some trips to Antietam I have some relics from there There is still goodies out there keep on digging Bob

Glad to see you are getting some nice relics for your efforts. You really seem like a humble individual. Lots of nice finds are gonna come your way.

I was hunting a very old colonial site not long ago. I came up with about 4 of those heal type plates. I had no idea what they were. Thanks for the info.

Nice group of lead there too.
I got a very neat Eagle button too today, that I will post tomorrow. (too tired tonight )
It is a scrawny looking eagle on top of a cannon. I'm going to try to find it in my button books.
