Hey all - any help or thoughts w this piece are really appreciated. Picked it up in one of my favorite thrifts.

The vase is glazed earthenware. I used to work in a museum so I recognized the standard accession number on the bottom and couldn’t resist. It was acquired in 1975 by some museum that uses standard coding.

Any ideas on how to research this further or what culture I’m dealing with?

Thanks and happy hunting.

I took the photos down because I sent them to an auction house that immediately identified the museum. Now in contact w the museum.
