you guys would reccomend to get started in making my own points, i have a large collection of jasper and rhyolite i would like to work

The art of flint knapping by D.C. Waldorf- This is the bible of flint knapping. Also there is allot of great stuff on youtube. I started on beer bottle bottoms and slowly progressed into better material. Novaculite is probable one of the best materials to start with. I have never worked with jasper or rhyolite. Most of my knapping is with flint ridge materials, carter cave or novaculite.
