Found in a creek while fishing. It's 15 ft long and the same on both ends. It was straight but bent while getting it out. It was mostly buried.

Looks like one of the ties used on man made dams in our area that hold together the large boulders/rocks to each other

I have seen similar iron rods in Allegheny State Forest where old stationary engines were used to run multiple pumps at old oil sites.
