I found a 26 inch heavy men’s silver neck chain and a men’s silver bracelet, it was a couple of years ago in a resort swimming area in salt water .
Both had broken next to the clasp and were black with oxidation.
This year I decided to get them repaired, cost me $15 for both . The guy cleaned them and I polished them so they looked pretty good and I could wear them .
Last week I accidentally put the bracelet in the washing machine with my clothes. I found it when I emptied the machine , I couldn’t believe how shiny and bright it was , looked brand new .
So next wash I put the neck chain in and same result, bright and shiny .
Anyone else tried this with silver ?
