Found this at an old green that dates back to the early 1800's. It was about 5'' down. Any ideas what it might be or be a part of?? Rich.

Wooo something I know a bit about.
Don't think it is a food grinding disk. I have several and none look anything like this.
Besides as BCH said. "In Brass?" Brass wouldn't work as a grinding disk, unless you have Pica or something and like to eat metal.

I don't know for sure what it is. Kinda looks like a pin of some kind with that rusty hole on one side.
