Any magnometer??

Hi I had a question about boat towed mags. Could I use any mag then make it water proof and use it for wreck locating? Any help would be great thanks

I would not do it. Very hard to seal around the controls.
Not to mention the deeper you go, the increased pressure
will want to find a way into the equipment.
Yes, their exspensive, buy a used underwater model !!
Also, rinse your gear after use. Salt waters hard on things.
