Any Young Guns like me out there??

[rdawg14]

Just wondering how many people closer to my age are out there treasure hunting as a hobby. 18 years old here, trying to get out with my detector as much as college permits. haha, add me as a friend, would love to get to know some avid hunters close to my age!

I sure wish I was 18 again... and know what i know now!

It's been so long ago I forgot what 18 is.

[Marko0916]

18! You should modify your detector to pulls girls in.

[Toby1858]

I'm thirty nine and holding. I'm sure there's a few of you wipper snappers around here though!!

[rdawg14]

Toby
yeah, it's ashame there isn't more though. Detecting is such a good time and so interesting. Most people don't know what they are missing out on.

[Toby1858]

Yeah, even when I was a little kid 5-12 or so I thought about detecting, but never pursued actually doing it! I didn't start until I was 32. Imagine the collection of goodies you'll have found before you even turn 40 , if you keep at it! You need to join a club or something and meet some detecting bro's that way. There's a lot the old folks can teach even if you can't find anybody your age.

[Number9]

Toby... 39? Heck, I've got underwear older than that!

Ryan...

When I was 18, I thought everyone over 30 was old and outdated... now I think everyone under 30 is to young to know better! HA!
Combine your friends with both young and old. That way you'll be around new ideas and experience.. a combination that's hard to beat!

[Jim of PA]

[Fullpan]

So you're 18 and prefer making nooby mistakes for 5 years, rather than smell Ben Gay and learn something. Good Choice!
