Anyone in the Mid-West Winter Storm on Board.....?

We still have 1-2 inchs of snow on the ground from Christmas here..............with a N.W. Storm to bring 3 more inchs with 35mph winds/..................going to set a record here for 20 below 0 windchill!!!!
I know I place in N.W.Ark...................Pond ,Ark where the wind chill will get 45 below that night!!
Flintfinder I heard the Mississippi is frozen some........how is your area doing..........?

I live in the bootheel of MO. our area only had a dusting of snow, but I am having to break the ice on the horses water at least 3 x's a day!! & they say to expect an arctic freeze to hit by fri. I thought that's what we had already! will get snow tomorrow. I figure if it's gonna be cold we might as well get some snow out of it. went to Cape yesterday & saw lots of ice chunks on the river. I remember worse, but it doesn't make it any easier to do the outdoor chores!

09 was the 1st Christmas day it snowed in years here,then it melted and snowed again.....now a NorthWestern true Blizzard for N.W.Arkansas tomorrow night,its been 20 degree all day.......
I seen baby Calves freeze to death out in the fields when temps go under 20 below........no barns for Cattle here,,,
Then with 5 inchs of snow to melt and re-freeze for over several days.............no driving here very much
Last year in 09 are 1st NorthWestern winter storm brought the State wide Ice Storm............
This year just record cold temps plus 3 inch of snow......................
It should be pretty much a white out......................

Last time it snowed in Florida with any accumulation was in 1977, There were parts of Tampa and Orlando that got between 2-6 inches, although it did not last for long. There have been numerous occasions over the years of flurries......

we actually got close to 2 inches here in Panama City on Dec 22 1989..but then again, alot of people consider this "lower Alabama" & not Florida

We still have the 20 plus inches deposited in the Christmas storm, and we now have another 5+ on the way with high winds to really make it interesting. It looks just like this yet today around here.

We have 4" on the ground from around x-mas, in Southeast Iowa. And 6-9" on the way tonight with lots of wind. and its been in single digits or negatives off and on since after x-mas, and thats without the windchill. Wont be above freezing for atleast the next 10 days by the forecast.

I have never hated snow on the ground so much! Since I just started arrowhead hunting last spring!

Heres a dirt road I looked on today, the grader scraped a little off and it was the only exposed dirt I could find! And heres one of my creeks. Needless to say my hunt didn't produce today.
