Anyone know the price the small coils will be going for?

I was told small coils will start shipping to dealers any day, price of $179 for 6".

That's because all the brains are in the coil for the Deus, thst where the programs actually reside. You can hunt with just the coil and the wireless headphones. The Deus controller is only Needed To program the coil and do updates and for the visual TID display, though the WS4 headphone module also shows TID.

The Minelab US MAP for the 6" coil is $179.99. No dealer will be selling it for a higher price (at least no dealer who wants to be competitive) and depending on the dealer may be able to swing a discount.
