Anyone Use I-Detect Software?

I'm using the I-DETECT software and it looks pretty good, but I'm having "Issues with Google EARTH"!! When I find my location using google EARTH, I can't seem to put the co-ordinates into I-DETECT. The parameters or 'GEODETIC VALUES' don't seem to fit and I can NEVER get even CLOSE to the spot that I wish to imput! VERY FRUSTRATING!!

Here's an example:

My GOOGLE EARTH location / co-ordinates are as follows: "Forest Lawn Park - Area"
Latitude: 51° 2'30.89"N
Longitude: 113°57'35.53"W

So how the HECK do these values enter into I-DETECT? It doesn't seem to compute!!
Does Google EARTH use a different 'GEODETIC SYSTEM'

Its been a while since I used I-Detect and never used the location feature as half the time I never had my gps with me anyway. Good luck.............

I think I've figured out the co-ordinates and such, but not sure if this is the best metal detecting SOFTWARE... Anyone using Metal Detecting software ? Any Suggestions?

I prefer 'UTM' Universal Transverse Mercator Very accurate but I don't think Google Earth uses it. I use it on my GPS. Here is a converter thay may help.

I-detect uses the the "Minute Decimal" format for coordinates. The converter listed above converts your coordinates to: Latitude: 51°2.514
Longitude: -113°57.592. You can also use our website to get the coordinates in the correct format for i-detect if you prefer. The map is at: http://www.ginkgoware.com/huntmap.htm, just find your location and read the coordinates in the "GPS format DD.MM.mm" box.
