Are these brass pieces possibly off of a flintlock firearm?

Hi all.

I recently found the frizzen and hammer off of a flintlock pistol/rifle. The small brass pieces came out of the same field. I was curious if they may have also came from the firearm. I know a little bit about modern firearms, but don't know anything about the old stuff.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The hammer (cock) and frizzed I'm with you. But the other pieces I don't recognize as firearm related. Although the piece to the right of the nickel may be from a firearm. Part of the trigger guard or butt tang(?)

Wonder if the one piece might be part of the Patch Box Cover!

ETA: Second look and it might be too small for that.

LOL Thanks man! The 2 rusted parts were actually found a week a part.

I figured it was a long shot that the brass pieces were firearm related, but wanted to get opinions from the experts.

I think the rusted piece are off a flintlock, your are missing the top jaw and the screw that held it all together, awesome find!!!

The long pointy piece could be part of the trigger guard inlay.

The pointed piece is the entrance receptacle for ram rod but is broken off on attachment side. I have found them in the past and will send picture if I can find out how. Just joined site yesterday and have not found that out. Research flint lock pieces on internet and you will see them pictured. Congratulations on your finds!

This first brass piece to me looks like a window latch.
The second rectangular bass piece looks to be the catch from a door lock. :icon_scratch:

Your piece to the far right looks like a small strap guide.

Looks like a compass piece.
The other is part of an 18th C horse harness reign guide.
