This will probably be my last comment on said post as people are getting on my nerve on this particular one. What's so hard about understanding you are able to take your own precautions if you are so afraid of a virus or at risk. It's your own health you manage your life. I nor no one else is responsible for you. It's always a slippery slope situation with things you push on thing on people then it's thought to be okay to push more. I won't force you not to wear a mask if you want to don't force me to wear one if I don't want to.

E.T.A.: Maybe you can't. Freedom is well understood but Liberty is not. You have the freedom to flail your fists around like a monkey but you are not at liberty to strike me by doing so. Your rights end one inch from my nose. Also no right can be had at someone else's expense. You have no more right to force somebody to wear a mask than you have right to force me to wear deodorant, which I will not be doing, because if you can smell me you are too close anyways.

So some of you might want to think some before you decide its for the greater good to punch out your neighbor in the supermarket because they are not wearing a mask.

Funny how "The Greater Good" alway and without fail involves wronging people...

I wanted to knock the teeth out of a maskless man that walked out of Sam's Club just as my wife was going in with her mask on. Insisting and triggering about his "rights" without acknowledging his responsibilities is not freedom. It's selfish, adolescent idiocy.

They say hell is a place where there is no reason, so with that in mind I feel compelled to ask you - "Why?"

Cool wear your mask if you are scared of the virus I do not mind. Meanwhile I'm not scared of it, I also know not to trust the numbers. No one is stopping you from wearing a mask or forcing you to be around people and what not. Whilst I can respect you choosing to wear a mask and being cautious if you want there really is no reason for everyone to have to wear one. Again some places I get for it to be mandatory as some places deal with a lot of people at risk but not for everything should one be forced to wear a mask.

That's some mildly interesting data you provided there Ol' kantuck. That data raises some questions-

How many cases would have been prevented by a mask mandate?

What is the total number of active cases?

What is the total number of recovered cases?

What are the statistics on mask effectiveness? I can garuntee it is measurable and that it is somewhere between 100% and Zero percent. So what is it?

You don't know the answers to any of these questions, which is probably how come you selfishly want to force your will upon other individuals - because you are not only fearful but downright scared of the unknown.

Which raises more questions- How long until I am required to wear a mask/get a vaccine/ get government approval tattooed on my right hand (or on the forehead) before I can interact with others and participate in commerce?

I should have updated you all, as to DO NOT sanitize your mask with Lysol, lol.
Only took 2 times to figure that one out... stupid pandemic had me not even thinking...
That was waaayyyy back, whenever, though.... it's all good now...

I will NOT wear a mask outside! I find that ludicrous!
There's enough space, even in most metropolises, everyone can safely stay a distance....
Something I've always advocated, as I've never liked ppl right up on me, anyways.
Also, I make an effort to stay away from others, too.
Especially if they look like idiots!
If I go metal detecting, I don't wear my mask at all down to the beach.
I'm getting in the water, where I'mma gonna keep it?

I wear the thing in stores... and I'm in & out, no dilly dallying...
I hate shopping anyway, too, so no loss here.
I have encountered a few in stores not wearing masks,
I stay a little further away from them.
