Argentus is a mixture of silver and palladium, but I do not know the ratios.

A Silver/Palladium allow used by Josten's for a while. Don't know the percentages though.

I agree Don, but it appears to be a generic United States Navy ring, unless there is a name inside...

Well, the little "Ships Wheel" logo on the bottom of the side (under the eagle/shield/anchor) is the rating for Naval Quartermaster. It is reasonable to assume that DCF served as quartermaster then. There is too little information to do a computer search, but you may contact your local VFW and let them know you found the ring, and see if they may have a member who lost one. Maybe place an ad in your local Craig's list describing the ring (but not the initials and quartermaster logo.) If you get a response from DCF it should be an easy match. Best of luck, Sub

Just call the greatlakes recruit command which is inscribed on the side plus my local recruiting office both said thats gonna be a tough one
