Is the grey stone a artifact? Also is the pink stone flint or a snapping material?

I don't know on the grey stone...but I have something similar to it that I've wondered about also.

The pink one is hard to say as well. Was it the only one like it in the area?

Chert will be out of place in some areas meaning it was transported from some source to a camp

Rock is correct and both are just rocks............ Sorry just natural erosion, neither are artifact.

Hello,sandown,the last one is not bad for a new one.i like how it looks like flakes were taken off of it.that is what you need to look for,when looking for artifacts that were supposed to be sharp. alot of rocks have a story too tell.you get good when you look at more.


i should of said something about the first rock,what would you use it for,go ahead and bring it out of the rock,use it as you would.then others could talk about it later.
