Nice find! Looks like a CS fuse to me, but I'm no expert. I'm sure one will chime in before long.
 
These are actually fuse plugs,most likely for a ball. They took paper fuses that would ignite when the cannon fired. Very nice dig for the collection :icon_thumright:
