Assistance Needed Evaluating Markers

After studying this picture ...
I did see the heart in front of the eagle.

These signs convince me there are two distinct trails here.
Ihave emailed the reasons why.
The eagle is marked 1
the heart is marked 2

I knew the original poster. Unfortunately he passed away in a car accident around Christmas. I am about to go hike the same trail in the next few week and any information would be helpful.

Stringray88 I agree with Thom, there seems to be two trails one in and one out possibly, supplies in or out it would be my guess that the trail out would be down hill ( one that might be of interest ) or it may be the last markers, Charles Kenyworthy's book said the you may need to follow the IN marker for 1 1/2 mile with out another mark IF it is a consealed MINE. It is my belief that they would conseal a productive mine and would not if it was a worked out mine. Thats just a thought / guess of mine. May be time to Google Earth and see if something visual will show up
