Thanks L-D. Got the news today that the archs have claimed the park as theirs to oversee and have made it off-limits for detecting. Not sure what will come of all this, but I won't be going back anytime soon. Had many good hours of detecting there. I've attached the pic of what appears to be a hand-tooled piece of silver.
