Aussie silver found in Idaho!

[Mighty AP]

Went to my soccer field during my lunch hour today, found a live .308 rifle round, 5 dimes & 5 pennies. Oh, & a 1941 Australian three pence silver coin! Rang up as a dime & i dug it at about 7 inches, when I pulled it up I knew it was silver! Thought it was a Roosie or merc til I cleaned it off, what the hell is this thing doin here? Ive found a lot of old memorial pennies & a 1950 wheatie so I knew there had to be silver in this park, going to spend all day there tomorrow!
This thing belong to you Tinpan? You got holes in yer pockets? lol

I spent a couple hours in this park today & ran into a very nice gentlman named Kent who lives in a house adjacent to the park. He has been hunting this park for a couple years with a Garrett 500, & I think he has hunted every park around in this & many other towns! I believe we are going to do some hunting together very soon..........if the snow stays away & I am very much looking forward to it! He went to his house to get a box of rings to show me, & I was soooooo impressed! A large wooden cigar type box that he put foam in & sliced grooves to hold the rings...........must have been 70 rings! Beautiful way to display them, I told him about TreasureNet & am trying to get him to post a pic of his rings & other finds so EVERYONE can be impressed as I am! He is a detecting pro, very modest & I hope to see him here at TN soon!

In Washington now -- spent a little while in Bangkok -- that was interresting -- have only had the time to go out once -- found silver, but it was only a ring -- good to be back -- have a lot of catching up 2 do.
