My first Large Cent and other weekend finds.

I was able to make it back to finish up the park area in front of City Hall today. The building was built in 1852, so I was really hoping for more old coins, especially silver. I am still on a silver coin drought since July :sadsmiley:. I finally found a couple of good finds, an 1847 Large Cent and a 1918 Wheat Cent. I am loving the new AT Pro! I am starting to get used to it.

Here are some pics from this weekend. The first three pics are from Saturday from an old park near houses that were built around 1900-1910. I found a pocket knife, a silver ring with no markings, a 1908 IHC, and a 10K Gold Filled Pin. There is also part of a herringbone necklace that looks like gold to me, but is missing the clasp that would have markings.

The next three pics were from today. I found a giant junk ring, a 1918 Wheat cent, and an 1847 Large Cent (my first). The Large Cent has great detail! I am definitely happy finding that!

Nice LC. Judging from the condition it probably went into the ground in fairly new condition. Congrats
