The summer hiatus from Baltimore City parks ended today.

My first time back since June 29th proved to be another Indian bonanza, Five IHCs (1880 thought 1900).
There were two "jewelry items": and old cufflink and a small brooch with pin missing.

It was quite a day for nickles, 8 in all; this included a V, a Buff, a war nickel, and 5 other Jeffersons.

I'm intrigued by a lead disk found with numbers "129" stamped on it.

Thanks for checking out the pics. Happy Hunting!

Thx Tuberale! The V-nickel was the first one found on Thursday, the Buff was the last.

Thanks tomhighland! Agreed! 3 of the 5 were fine with just scraping. Two I had to put through peroxide and baking soda, but even they look good. This park over all others in Baltimore gives up the best Indians.

Thanks Art. Hunted for about 7 hours; it's amazing how time flies when you're grid searching. It wasn't all hunting; there were a number of people passing by who I got to speak with.

Thanks SD51. This park started in the mid-1800s, so there's plenty of stuff in the ground.

Dang! That's an amazing hunt you had there! Congratulations! :occasion14:
