I went back to the houses this morning and was going to do the back yard of the house I did yesterday. Instead, I decided to get the front yard of the second house done since there is no shade there, and it was nice and cool this morning. It turned out to be more of what I would expect from one of those houses as far as the coin count goes. Right when I got to the end of the yard my rechargeables go dead. No problem, I carry an extra set. So I put them in, and they are dead, too. I forgot to charge them last time I used them. That's when the hunt ended, but not before I had picked up a little clad and a few other odds and ends.

You find some nice places to hunt...and about the batteries.....hide some in your vehicle and forget about them..until your detector goes dead again..HH and very nice finds.

Still some nice digs, even though your batteries died. Looks like you have a nice little area to hunt.

Congrats, and HH

With all those coins vacuumed up, you're bound to find a ring or two.

Good work and get um.

Way to go Dave. Are all the coins close to the surface at all these houses? I have a pack of 36 AA's in my glove box...just in case. We are all watching ya, keep up the good work.

Most are within a few inches of the surface. I usually carry 2 rechargable packs and a regular battery pack, but for some reason I took the regular pack out of the truck the other day. Last time that will happen.
