Back to "the lot" and another Rosie.

TimC and I went to South Shore Park (Milwaukee Co. Park System) and hunted the picnic area # 1. A little bit of clad and two wheats. 1928 and 47 D. After going home, I decided I still needed more. I went to the old standby, the SW corner lot at Kinnickinnic and Howard. I could see the unfilled holes recently dug by someone but "what the hey" no place is ever cleaned out. Found a 47 rosie before the rain chased me home. That's a total of 14 Wheats and 4 silver dimes from this lot. A good day! TTC

If I had a day that good in this area they'd make a bronze statue of me and put it in central park.

JUst in case you missunderstood me, we only found 2 wheats and a rosie today. The other wheats (14) and dimes (totaling 4 now) came from about 8 or 9 trips to "the lot." We have spent about 12 or 13 hours total on the lot.... so far! TTC

ALL the sites you've taken me to have been good. But if you want Wheaties.... C'mon down to my "backyard", Milwaukee's parks! I'll show you where to get them! TTC
