Badger

I got quite a few pictures of this badger and hesitant to post any of them. He/She is in pretty sad condition. I chose to post this one because it doesn't show the injuries to the other side of it's head. Guessing a mountain lion, wolf, or maybe even another badger caused the injuries... I imagine whatever caused it has their own injuries now.

Looks like it's tired. Badgers are tough, no doubt, but it can't be
fun living with a bunch of injuries.

I feel sorry for it. Nature can be tough.

I only get back in this area once a week or so.... I thought that if I could get there more often, I'd get some kind of antibiotics from the feed store and mix it in hamburger for him. I would have to be there all the time and hope other critters didn't get it.
